Ace Podcasts is Australias first independent, international podcast network. Located in Perth, the most isolated capital city in the world, the team of APN work endlessly to improve the craft of podcasting and to promote the engagement and communications of hosts with their audiences.
Dan Kelsey-Wilkinson – CEO & Digital Content Manager
Daniel Kelsey-Wilkinson is many things, a science communicator; podcaster; martial artist; oceanographer; geek; nerd; gamer, but above all is an English Gentleman. With a background in the geosciences (ocean & atmospheric science) he has a passion to learn about the world around him and explain to others why things are the way they are. After graduating at Plymouth University in the UK he moved to Perth, Australia to peruse a career in oceanography. However, after many years in this field (and many bouts of sea-sickness) Daniel is now channelling his passion into the communication of Science.
Daniel, AKA DK, is the host of Vaguely Accurate and co-owner of the Ace Podcast Network. The idea behind APN is to develop a mutually beneficial community of podcast hosts who work together by sharing technical skills, advice and knowledge. APN also offers services such as consultations, webinars and workshops to help individuals achieve their podcasting goals.
Adam Johnson – CEO & Maketing Manager
Passionate, energetic and determined (stubborn – depending on who you ask) and are some of the words that would best describe Adam Johnson. Adam is a proud co-founder of the Ace Podcast Network, Real Estate Couch and Consultant, Podcast Host and Mentor. His passion, Ace Podcasts started with the initial intention of creating a community for new podcast hosts to share ideas, tips and find guidance in the hope that he could pass on the hard won lessons without the pain of the mistakes and to bring more enjoyment to process of podcasting. As Ace Podcasts started to gain momentum, just providing a community wasn’t enough for Adam and his co-founders, so it became time to expand in order to help the members of Ace Podcasts in a more complete way. Adam never planned for Ace Podcasts to be a business and was just looking to create and be a part of something that was genuinely helpful and enjoyable however as the network’s reach began to expand and develop, the time requirements becoming increasingly demanding and his passion for helping hosts grow their podcast, the network and it’s founders needed to adjust in turn. Adam is determined to get people to where they want to be in whatever field they choose, starting with Podcasts, through the ever growing Ace Podcast Network!
